Day Five

Last night we stayed at the Woombah Woods Holiday Park in which we camped out with our tent. Woke up this morning with water dripping through the fabric from the dew :O Wasn't too bad though so that was good :D

The first 20 km's took off to another great start and my thigh wasn't too bad today, I was quite happy about that however my ankle started playing up and slowed me down a bit towards the end but all was well and I finished the day earlier than expected!

I saw the biggest Eagle today, it was massive and near a pond with Pelicans in it. I've seen a few Eagles during this run but nothing as big as the one I saw today!

I had a lot of support on the road today with people waving and beeping, or maybe they were telling me to get off the road haha! Anyway, that was probably due to the local Grafton radio station announced on their morning news that I was running into town :D

Right after the run I had an interview with a really nice girl from the Grafton Daily Examiner, Neil even got in on the interview too which is good as he is a huge part of this run.

That's all from me today, hopefully I will have more good news to come. TEN DAYS TO GO!!!!!
